Moving to LinkStar
Here is how to move the links you keep on Linktree, Inpock Link, or Litt.ly to LinkStar. Copy your link list and paste it in.
We have not built automatic import. LinkStar does not open or read pages on other services; it reads only the text you copy and paste in.
Three steps
Open the page you use now
On Linktree, Inpock Link, or Litt.ly, open your link page. It can be the admin screen you see after logging in, or the public page your visitors see.
Copy your list of links
Select the link titles and addresses with your mouse or finger, then copy them. If the service has its own export feature, you can use it to get the list. Screens differ by service, so we do not describe exact locations here.
It works best with one link per line, with the title and the address together.
In LinkStar, press Add all
In the Page tab of the LinkStar editor, press Add all, paste what you copied, then press Add. The links go in at once.
You can edit the titles and the order in the editor afterwards.
What Add all reads
- One link per line. Write the title and the address on the same line, or put the address on the line right below the title.
- If there is no title, the domain name of the address becomes the title.
- You do not need https:// or www. A bare domain such as example.com/page is read too, as long as it ends in a common domain ending such as .com or .kr. An http:// address is changed to https:// when it is added.
- A title can be up to 80 characters. Symbols such as -, •, or | at the start or end of a title are removed.
- An address that appears more than once, or is already on the page, is added only once.
- Shortened addresses such as bit.ly, addresses that forward to another address, numeric IP addresses, and addresses with a user name or port number cannot be added.
- Only web addresses are read. Phone numbers and email addresses are not read.
- You can paste up to 20,000 characters and 50 links at a time. Once the page has 50 blocks, the remaining lines are skipped.
- Lines that could not be added are listed with the reason after the links are added.
Example of what to paste
If you paste this:
My blog https://blog.naver.com/example Instagram https://www.instagram.com/example https://www.youtube.com/@example
Three links are added, titled “My blog”, “Instagram”, and “youtube.com”. You can change the titles in the editor.
After you move
- Change the link in your Instagram profile, or wherever you shared the old one, to your new LinkStar address yourself.
- Your old page and its visit history stay where they are, and they are not carried over to LinkStar. You decide whether to delete the old page.
